Add Students

Add new students easily on your TypeTastic homepage or on the class page.

1. Click +Add Student button
2. Enter the required information
3. Click Save

First name, last name, username, password, and class are required information. An email address is required when Google or Microsoft SSO is in use on the account. In that case, we recommend to use the email as username/login ID.

Google Classroom: Student accounts can be imported

If you are using Google Classroom, you can import classes and students to TypeTastic. To do that, click on "Import" and select the option Google Classroom.

Classlink SSO: Student accounts are created on-the-fly at login

If your account is set up with Classlink SSO, you do not need to add students yourself. Simple create a class with a class code and share the code with your students. When they log in the first time, they will be asked to enter the class code and will then join your class automatically.
