Import Schools

NOTE!

You can skip school import if you have already created your schools or if you are a school administrator. Be sure to use the same school names in the three other CSV files so that users and classes get matched to the correct school.

To import schools to your account, prepare a CSV file with these columns: 

Column name	Required / optional	Description
school_name	Required, unique	Name of the school
external_id	Optional, unique  If empty, system ids can’t be used to match teachers to schools, classes to a teacher and students to classes.	System id of the school that can be used instead of school name when matching users and classes to school.  Only use if you have downloaded your CSV roster data from SIS and matching by school name is not feasible.
