How to Use TypeTastic

What is my school’s login URL?

Every school or district has a unique login URL, in the form of [yourschoolname].typetastic.com.

How do I log in?

Go to your school's login page and sign in with your username and password.

Can we login through Clever?

Yes, TypeTastic supports Clever login. Please contact our support to enable Clever integration.

Can we log in with our Google or O365 accounts?

Yes, if your account administrator has enabled Google or O365 login method(s).

What is a class code?

A class code is used to enroll students to classes.

Where do I enter a class code?

If a student is not yet enrolled, he/she is asked to enter a class code immediately after logging in.

If a student is enrolled in a class, he/she can switch to another class by entering the class code on their personal information page.

Can I view students’ passwords?

Yes, click on the edit icon on to view student settings and click on the eye icon to view password.

Can I print students’ passwords?

Passwords can be printed when login with username and password is the only login method. Select the students on your class page and click "Print Credentials".

What are the pass requirements?

Each unit has pre-defined pass requirements for each grade level. The pass requirements define the minimum typing speed and accuracy students need to achieve to pass the lesson or typing test. You can modify the pass requirements to your liking.
